FIELD: water transport; building motor-sailing yachts for carrying passengers in case and lakes. SUBSTANCE: motor-sailing yacht has hull with deck and engine, as well as vertical cylinder with cantilever mounted in central portion of deck. Deck has straight line side contour. Transversal attachment is secured at end of cantilever at distance equal to half width of deck from center of cylinder. Lower edge of rectangular sail is articulated to this attachment for turn from vertical to horizontal position. Rope and winch are used for such turn. Cantilever is connected with rectangular sail by partially compressed spring. Sizes of sail are equal to sizes of central portion of deck.
