FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport facilities. The proposed motor sailer is designed in five versions. The motor sailer contains masts, sails, propelling screws with a drive, wind force and direction pickups, drums with a drive, the ends of sail tapes are rope-fastened to the drum reels. In compliance with the 1st version, the motor sailer differs in that beams are rigidly attached to the deck perpendicular to the ship lengthwise axis, the beam length exceeding that of the ship. Support posts are vertically fitted on the beams. The ends of beams are furnished with support floats. The post lower and upper bases accommodate hinged rollers representing the coupled cones to form a round-section gap between aforesaid rollers for ropes edged by sails to be attached and to move thereon. Sail tape cross-section represents a direct line or an angle, an arc, a rectangular or a trapezoid. In compliance with the 2nd version, the motor sailer differs in that one or several beams are furnished with support posts, rolls, clamps, and are coupled with winches by ropes. Beams can revolve about the masts to allow the beam ends of beams moving aboard the ship and into initial position. In compliance with the 3rd version, the motor sailer differs in that one ends of the beams are hinged to the ship board and can revolve, while the other ends are interconnected and coupled with the winches by ropes. In compliance with the 4th and 5th versions, the motor sailer differs in that the beams are rigidly connected to the deck and have their cross-section representing a square or an ellipse, or a rectangular. The beams are provided with the telescoping beams rod-jointed with pistons arranged horizontally in the cylinder fitted at the centre of hollow beam. In compliance with the 4th version, the cylinder communicates with the tank via an oil duct and hydraulic drive pump. In compliance with the 5th version, the cylinder communicates with the receiver by means of electric pump and pneumatic drive compressor.
EFFECT: higher stability of wind-inclined motor sailer and increased of speed.
