FIELD: prevention and removal of ice formations from snow- or ice-covered surfaces. SUBSTANCE: calcium nitrate and carbamide based agent comprises, wt %; magnesium nitrate, up to 6.0; calcium phosphates, up to 0.1-0.5; carbamide- formaldehyde polymer, up to 3%; calcium carbonate, up to 7.0%. Calcium nitrate is prepared by any well known method including nitric acid decomposition of apatite. In order to prepare agent, additives and carbamide are added to calcium nitrate melt, mixture is evaporated and is subjected to granulation or prillation, and the final product is then cooled. Method makes it possible to prepare corrosion resistant, uncaking anti-icing agent by economically advantageous method. EFFECT: improved properties of the anti-icing agent.
