FIELD: fur industry. SUBSTANCE: fur skins are soaked and, 1-2 hr after this operation has been started, a complex preparation is added based on vegetable-origin biologically active substances, in particular, cyclic terpenes with general formula C10H18. Skins are then fleshed and degreased, the above-mentioned preparation being once more added at the beginning of the latter operation. Material is finely tanned and dubbed. Method allows production ecology to be improved owing to exclusion of sodium fluorosilicate and two times reduced consumption of chrome tanner. Duration of liquid treatment is reduced by 38%. EFFECT: improved environmental condition and improved quality of skin tissue. 2 tbl
