FIELD: fur industry. SUBSTANCE: process includes washing, reversing skins skin tissue upward, soaking with aqueous composition containing sodium chloride, pickling, shaving, and aldehyde tannage. When performing soaking, complex preparation based on oxygen-containing terpenes with general formula C10H16O is added in amounts 3-5 g/l in the beginning of treatment, and soaking is carried out simultaneously with pickling and tannage for 18-20 hr. Sodium chloride is added in two steps by equal portions: in the beginning of treatment and 7-8 hr later. According to invention, skin reversing is performed after tannage and is followed by degreasing.
