FIELD: fur industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes soaking of fur skins, fleshing, second soaking, pickling with aqueous composition containing sodium chloride, acetic and formic acids, planing, and aldehyde tannage. In pickling operation, 2.5-3 hr after the beginning of treatment, special complex preparations are additionally introduced into aqueous composition, and planing is followed by predrying. According to invention, aldehyde tannage is conducted for 2- 2.5 hr on sawdust in rolling drum utilizing glyoxal as aldehyde. EFFECT: increased heat resistance of skin tissue by 12-13 C and fourfold reduced treatment time. 3 cl, 2 tbl
