FIELD: computer engineering, optical instruments. SUBSTANCE: plurality of upper members of keys which are made from transparent materials and are located in cells of optical matrix moves upwards and downwards. This results in switching ON and OFF of corresponding cells of optical matrix, so that computer or electronic device operates by input of given keys. Henceforth functional command words and characters in upper members of keys are displayed by display unit when interfaced through respective software. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities due to possibility to alter key assignment. 8 cl, 12 dwg
