FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has hopper, hollow seeding roller with through openings in its cylindrical surface and resilient casing enclosing seeding spool along its perimeter, device for drawing resilient casing into openings, and cut plate. Hollow seeding roller is formed as grooved cylinder with resilient casing fastened to it. Employment of such seeding unit in drills allow their versatility to be increased and construction of special-purpose drills to be excluded.
