Initial composition containing mixture of disintegrated phosphide, which gives phosphine upon reaction with water, and a water-immiscible compound is distinguished by that the latter is a phosphide-inert substance selected from the group including: nonvolatile oil, low-melting wax, and their mixtures. When phosphide concentration is 65-85 wt %, composition represents thick mixture with paste or dense- suspension consistency at application temperature.
