FIELD: medicine, in particular, roentgenology. SUBSTANCE: when performing the X-ray examination of lungs in direct projection roentgenography of test-object is carried out preliminarily. Test-object is positioned in lung roentgenogram area which dows not contain diagnostic information, namely, in projection of lower half of mediastinum, provided the entire X-ray cassette, except for test-object, is screened from X-rays. Then test-object is removed, zone of its projection on film only is screened, and roentgenography of lungs is performed on one X-ray film in succession under the same physico-technical conditions.
