FIELD: process gas purification and surrounding atmosphere conservation. SUBSTANCE: prior to molding discharge electrode that has bearing part the latter is coated with silicon rubber layer, 0.5-0.6 mm thick, then covered with protective lead shell heated to 90-100 C in molding device whereupon it is brought out of the latter and at the same time allowed to dry out in the open. Bearing part is made in the form of wire. EFFECT: improved reliability and in-service efficiency due to enlarged service life and reduced fouling of electrode. 2 cl, 2 tbl
