FIELD: methods of processing armament plutonium including gallium containing addition. SUBSTANCE: method includes vacuum remelting of plutonium with sublimation and condensation of impurities. In the course of remelting, melt surface is treated with electronic beam with current density of 2.5-10.2 mA/sq. cm and accelerating voltage of 14.8-35.5 kV and by maintaining temperature of 1300-1700 C in surface layer to depth of penetration of beam electrons into melt. Method allows utilization of armament plutonium in capacity of fuel of power reactors. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
