GROUND GABION Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: building structures used in strengthening, and increasing of stability of ground objects of railway objects of railway bed, motor roads and their construction. SUBSTANCE: ground gabion presents gaze framework from zinc-coated with filler. Framework has internal cover from synthetic geotextile material or glass cloth. Filler is used in the form of ground or dispersed heat-insulating material with mechanized filling and compaction, mainly, by pressing. Dispersed material is used in the form of asbestos wastes, tailings of concentrating mills, granulated slag, slag-ash wastes of power stations, burnt rocks of mine workings and peat. Ground gabion is simple in design and adaptable to manufacture. It allows using of local grounds, dispersed materials, and utilization of industrial production wastes.
