FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing incisions in raised zones of continuous strips in accordance with designed mark by means of leveler-type working tool with wedge-shaped moldboard and laser control system to form earth embankments, with following sweeping of embankments to lowered zones; forming two earth embankments on edges of leveled strip for one pass of leveler-type working tool, with maximum distance between embankments being determined by width of scraper scoop. Apparatus has working tool, base frame, hydraulic cylinders, carrier wheels, pole with laser system photodetector. Working tool is formed as symmetrical wedge-shaped moldboard. Base frame is pivotally attached with its one end to zone where carrier wheels and hydraulic cylinders are fixed. Hitch with tractor are positioned at other end of base frame. Pole with laser system photodetector is fixed on side frame. EFFECT: increased efficiency and quality of leveling works, reduced number of passes and elimination of leveler yawing. 3 cl, 4 dwg
