PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR SHOE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: arch supporting device for shoes used for agricultural works requiring employment of hand-held tillage tools. SUBSTANCE: protective device has supporting plate connected with fastening and adjusting member, pivotal thrust for hand-held tillage tool shank. Thrust is connected with pivotal plate and its working surface is extending upward and forward. Fastening and adjusting member is made in the form of at least one longitudinal plank which may be regulated and retained on perforated scale of optimum position of fastening cheeks with butts and spur-shaped projections, when protective device is joined to shoe. Construction of device provides protection of toes and foot rear side from contacts with shank of spade or pitchfork etc in the process of pendulum motion of shank within working limits. Besides, device allows pivotal support to be found and fixed in optimum position for each hand-held earth digging tool. EFFECT: reduced labor intensity, increased efficiency and simplified construction. 1 dwg
