FIELD: medicine, ultrasonic diagnosis. SUBSTANCE: colloidal dispersions of type "liquid-in-liquid", i. e. emulsions or microemulsions where the dispersed phase is a liquid and exhibiting boiling point lower of an animal body temperature and image of this animal is necessary to obtain are subjected for phase change from the dispersed liquid to the strongly echogenic dispersed gas-like phase or kugelshaum after administration to animal. Liquid state of the dispersed phase ensures to prepare very stable pharmaceutically acceptable emulsions exhibiting particle size below 1000 nm usually. As a result of conversion of the dispersed phase to the gas-like state at temperature body the highly echogenic microvesicles are formed (their diameter is below 10000 nm usually) which are effective as ultrasonic contrasting agents. Invention describes the dosed forms for intravenous, intra-arterial, for oral, intraperitoneal and intrauterine administration, methods of administration and methods of image making. EFFECT: improved ultrasonic diagnosis. 28 cl, 9 tbl, 56 ex
