FIELD: chemical pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: contrast substances are provided in the form of microbulbs or hollow microglobules containing at least two biologically compatible substances A and B, gaseous at body temperature and forming mixture that being in suspension with common surfactants, additives, and stabilizers provide effective contrast means for ultrasonic echography. At least one mixture component is gas with molecular weight above 80 Da whose solubility in water under standard conditions is below 0.0283 ml/ml. Presence of that component in contrast substance varies from 0.5 to 41 vol %. The other component (A) is gas or gas mixture with molecular weight below 80 Da, preferably oxygen , air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide or their mixtures. Content of the second component varies from 59 to 99.5 vol %. Preparation of contrast substance, contrast means, and contrast means kit are also claimed.
