PROCESS OF DRESSING OF QUARTZ BASIC MATERIAL Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: dressing of minerals, preparation of especially pure quartz product. SUBSTANCE: process of dressing of quartz basic material includes magnetic separation of starting material with extraction of magnetic and nonmagnetic fractions. Nonmagnetic fraction is additionally subjected to electroplasma treatment in discharge chamber with flow washing of products with dielectric liquid. Distilled water is used in the capacity of dielectric liquid. Process makes it feasible to win especially pure quartz product with mass share of impurities equal to 13,2-16•6•10^-4%. EFFECT: development of high-efficiency technology of winning of quartz product which high quality makes it feasible to use it in manufacture of semiconductor and optical devices and in other science-intensive production. 1 cl, 5 tbl
