FIELD: concentration of minerals; production of high-quality microcline concentrates at high potassium modulus (Ka2O+NaO)/Na2O, 60-70. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes conditioning of pulp with alkali ion composition regulator and cation collector, floatation of part of iron- containing minerals followed by magnetic separation of chamber floatation product, thus obtaining microcline product in non-magnetic fraction which is brought to state of high-grade concentrate. In performing conditioning process, foaming and modifying agents (water glass) are introduced at the following ratio 1: 3: 8 to 1;3.5:9. Magnetic separation is carried out at solid-to-liquid ratio of pulp from 1: 3 to 1:5 at intensity of magnetic field from 800 to 1150 kA/m; finishing of microcline product is performed by treatment at presence of hydrochloric acid at its consumption of from 52 to 60 kg per kg of microcline product and concentration from 10 to 15% at temperature of from 40 to 50 C; procedure is continued for 1-1.5 h. Proposed method makes it possible to obtain high-quality concentrate at potassium modulus not below 60 and conditioned by content of iron (no more than 0.2%).
