SUBSTANCE: device has transformer, rectifying-inverting converter, two thyristors, capacitor, inductance coil and resistor. Capacitor, first thyristor and resistor are connected in series and inserted between anode and cathode groups of rectifying-inverting converter. Second thyristor and inductance coil are connected in series and in parallel to capacitor. EFFECT: increased power of electric locomotive due to decreased shift angle between basic harmonics of mains voltage and current. 1 dwg
