FIELD: thermal power engineering. SUBSTANCE: in turbine, diaphragms are extracted from high-pressure cylinder and blades are removed from disks of one or more pressure stages located along steam flow. Turbine is stopped. Cylinder is opened, and false diaphragms having same dimensions as diaphragms removed and provided only with stiffening ribs instead of blades are installed instead. After that, cylinder is closed, turbine is started and allowed to take desired load. EFFECT: improved operating reliability of turbine. 1 dwg
