FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designing new steam turbines or their modernization. Proposed system consists of delivery pipeline, device to prevent getting of steam into passage part in emergency and at stopping and control diaphragm arranged in cylinder. According to invention, protective device is made in form of stop diaphragm containing body with grooves without blades and turnable ring installed before said body. Said diaphragm is installed in cylinder coaxially relative to control diaphragm. Number of channels and their geometry in stop diaphragm corresponds to number of channels and their geometry in turnable ring of control diaphragm. EFFECT: simplified design of system delivering steam to cylinder, reduced labor input in manufacture and cost, improved reliability of turbine in operation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
