FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion rotary engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has hollow split housing with end plates and timing gears. Blade pistons 9 and 10 with gas and oil seals 11 are arranged in engine space for rotation and relative displacement. Engine has flywheel rigidly coupled with shaft 16. Housing has piston locks 19, 20. Piston are coupled with shaft by toothed mechanism for transmission of forces from shaft to pistons through idler gear 14 with fixed axle. When one of pistons moves, mechanical coupling of other piston with shaft is broken. EFFECT: increased reliability and mechanical efficiency of engine, provision of compactness, simplified design. 3 cl, 6 dwg
