FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. Con-rod for automatic ICE compression ratio control comprises H-section rod with oil duct composed of two halves with top and bottom heads having two left and two right axes. Con-rod top and bottom halves are jointed together by ribbed flanges, bolts and springs that double as oil duct pressure drop compensators and con-rod half guides. con-rod bottom half has a cavity for forcing oil from ICE lubing system via channel and plunger screwed in at con-rod top half to perform a working stroke in con-rod bottom half cavity. Discharge valve is used to release overpressure in the cavity and to feed oil for lubing needle bearings fitted on top axles and inserted into gudgeon pin bosses.
EFFECT: better indicated performances.
