SUBSTANCE: mass-exchange column includes vertical cylindrical housing having main section with mass-exchange trays and stripping section for obtaining side-cut distillate which is formed by longitudinal partition and bottom secured to side walls of column and equipped with mass-exchange trays, as well as inlet and outlet branch pipes. Innovation of invention consists in availability of distributing mass-exchange tray mounted above longitudinal partition of stripping section and provided with one or several overflow devices located above main and stripping sections of column; drain sill of each overflow device is made for change of perimeter and height of drain.
