FIELD: chemical, oil refining, gas and other related industries. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out three-sided, four-sided or six-sided valve blanks including base and legs from sheet material; forming valve legs by separating, for instance by notching, sides of each blank into strips at distance equal to width of valve leg to value equal to leg height, with following bending of strips at right angle to base; punching openings for receiving valves in plate blank, with each opening for receiving valve having smaller size than that of valve base. Openings for receiving legs are provided with recesses. Valves are inserted into openings and leg ends are bent. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, wasteless simplified technology and reduced production cost. 7 cl, 8 dwg
