FIELD: detachable connection of tool unit and its support at process of working parts. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes body, pair of mutually opposite spheres inside body and cylindrical body member mounted with possibility of joining with tool unit. Body member has pair of mutually opposite holes for transferring spheres from fixing position to non-fixing position. Spheres are moved by means of fixing rod mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion inside cylindrical body member along axis of apparatus. Fixing member has cam portions for guiding spheres through holes of body member to position of jamming contact with opposite inclined walls of holes in tool unit. Walls of holes of body member are inclined relative to line passing radially relative to axis of fixing rod in order to decrease angle between wall of hole and wall of tool unit. EFFECT: increased effort of jamming and fixing contact between spheres and inclined walls of tool unit. 13 cl, 5 dwg
