FIELD: high-frequency technology of induction brazing of metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: method provides for expanded capabilities of automatic adjustment and self-diagnostics, for compensation amplitude tracking with control over reflective optical and electronic components of sensitivity, for spectral filtration check of structure of surface of parts, for spatial-amplitude, gradient-extreme evaluations of heating, precipitation, state of surface, level of penetration, flaws of lack of continuity of brazed parts and welds, condition of functioning technological machinery and detection of nonpermissible defects of overheating, faulty fusion, correlation thermogram test of hardness. There are presented spatial-amplitude (extrema, gradients), spatial-geometric (central regions, areas, volumes, distances, connectivity, degree of branching), dynamic, statistical (expectation, dispersion, root-mean-square interruption or center, area, average radius of assemblage of tentative-point objects) information data on detection and recognition of characteristics of formation of brazed joints and functioning of machinery supporting brazing.
