SUBSTANCE: invention is applicable to wells which are equipped with immersed sucker rod pumps, electric heaters, production pipe string, pump-compressor pipes, rod string with polished rod, and Christmas tree. According to method, electric links are broken between polished rod and sucker rod pump, also between sucker rod pump, polished rod and Christmas in sealing gland part, and also between Christmas and discharge line. Electric power is brought to polished rod and it is disconnected from grounding. Before supply of electric power, additionally broken are electric links over metal between well and grounding circuit. Used is double-electrode galvanic circuit. Applied in function of electrodes are electrically insulated well and closely located grounding member. Liquidation of paraffin-crystallohydrate plug is carried out by intervals. Initially plug is removed from heated part of rod string. Rod string is unscrewed and lifted from well. Then lowered into well is rod string with electric resistance less than in gripped rod string. This rod string is connected with gripped part of rod string and operation is repeated until complete freeing of rods from paraffin-crystallohydrate plug, Used in function of closely located grounding member is adjacent well. Device for realization of aforesaid method has following components: production string of pipes 1, pump-compressor pipes 2, immersed sucker rod pump 4, rod string 3, and polished rod 6. Device additionally has auxiliary rod string with electrically insulated external surface made of material with electrical resistance lower than in gripped rod string. Polished rod 7 is sectional and is made up of dielectric part 21, current conducting contact part 22, and current conducting part 23 with insulated external surface. Rods 18 of auxiliary rod string are made hollow and with left-hand thread. Rods of auxiliary rod string and current conducting parts of polished rod 6 are made of alloy including aluminium, copper, magnesium. Application of aforesaid method and device widens area of use, gives larger depth for heating of rods and enhances safety of operations in liquidation of plugs in wells.
