FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method relates to development of kimberlite pipes by underground process. According to method, made in upper part of worked-out space in block is artificial bottom for developing of upper-lying block in the form of frameworks for conveying drifts or chambers for release of ore which are temporarily filled with inert materials. Intervals between frameworks are filled with hardening gobbing material. Inert materials are removed from frameworks during arrangement of bottom for developing of block in upper level. Breaking of ore in block is effected simultaneously from all bore-holes within limited compensation space with ensuring complete filling of block with broken-off ore. Release of broken-off ore is performed simultaneously by proportioned actuation of all vibration feeders in block. It is accompanied with dry gobbing of stoping space being freed. Application of aforesaid method allows for creation of safety conditions for work both in opencast operations and in underground operations together with reduced loss of ore and its minimized impoverishing especially in underground operations. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 6 dwg
