FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises assembling the pump unit. Said pump comprises housings of running and flow sections. Enclosed impeller incorporates discs and a set of curved vanes arranged there between. Pressure pipe is composed by diffuser. Adapter including case, thrust flanges and structural assy composed by coupling made up of two half-couplings is assembled. Bottom thrust flange is composed by trust plate. Running section housing is combined with bearings housings, bearings are mounted, rotor shaft is fitted in place, and running section housings is attached to that of flow section. Pump unit assembly parts are mounted. Adapter half-couplings are rigidly fitted on motor shaft opposite ends to fit pump and motor to appropriate thrust flanges. After assembly are pre-adjusted and pretested.
EFFECT: simplified design, fabrication and assembly, higher reliability and efficiency.
