FIELD: physical and chemical analyses in chemical and associated industries. SUBSTANCE: measuring cell is built up of two cylindrical resonant chambers (measuring and working ones) of variable-length total diameter. Resonant chambers are separated by metal partition carrying automatic valve on its axis. Liquid is separated from working chamber space by means of loosely moving piston that varies its length by changing liquid volume. Measuring resonant chamber has dielectric piston easily moving over its length and compensating microwave ferrite volume placed horizontally right immediately to upper end wall of resonant chamber. In addition, device is provided with two couplers, Q-factor meter, phase detector, adjustable current supply, pulse shaper, liquid inlet/outlet control device connected to working resonant chamber inlet, and also fixed-frequency microwave oscillator.
