FIELD: hydroacoustics; measuring parameters of primary and secondary fields of water craft. SUBSTANCE: water area protected by coast line against sea waves and wind is provided with hydroacoustic measuring facility and broadband system of hydroacoustic radiators incorporating pulse radiator. Hydroacoustic testing range has red and/or infrared pulsed lasers whose radiating heads are arranged around receiving part of measuring facility and pulsed electromagnetic energy source. Lasers function to form sound-conducting channel in hydroacoustic testing range around measuring facility to receive very weak hydroacoustic signals emitted and re-emitted by water craft. EFFECT: provision for measuring not only noise of water craft but also parameters of fields reflected and dissipated from craft as well as inherent frequencies of the latter. 6 cl, 2 dwg
