FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology, oncology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to using polyampholyte fibrous carbon material as an agent showing antitumor properties and the composition on said that can be used in pharmacology, food industry and medicinal practice as an enterosorbent for prophylactic aim and for patients with risk of intestine disease onset. Invention is based on the use of polyampholyte fibrous carbon material that contains both acid and basic functional groups as an agent showing antitumor properties. Amount of acidic functional groups of material exhibits the value of static exchange capacity 0.40 meq/g, not less, and amount of basic functional groups exhibits the value of static exchange capacity 0.25 meq/g, not less, and the sorption activity of material exhibits value of methylene blue absorption 350 mg/g, not less. The composition showing antitumor properties, - carbon-fibrous enterosorbent has a polyampholyte fibrous carbon material at amount 20-70 wt-% and the filling agent - the rest. Substances no sorbing on surface are used as the filling agent. Invention provides the practical use of polyampholyte carbon material as an anticarcinogenic sorbent which is able to sorb and eliminate metabolites formed in the process of metabolism 1,2-dimethylhydrazine from body in model intestine carcinogenesis in animals.
