FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has holder for injection cartridge with preparation for multiple injection. Rear piston of cartridge may be moved forward by piston rod provided with locking facilities capable of release. Locking facilities consist of at least one longitudinal recess of wedge-like cross-section and at least one locking cam which cross-section is adjusted to that of the above-indicated recess. Piston rod has means for driving the cam (or cams) into recess (or recesses) in order to stop piston rod motion or to release locking cam (or cams) from recess (or recesses), thereby unlocking piston rod motion. At its rear end, piston rod is coupled to spring facility for moving it forward and to device for setting of piston rod stroke when introducing the preparation.
