FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cutting line templates with profiled edges are fastened on skin forming unit. Profiles of edge define profiles of finished edges of ready nose skin. Edge laying out device has main support with rollers provided with V-shaped groove installed for movement along side rails secured on skin forming unit, handles used at dismounting from and mounting of edge laying out device onto skin forming unit, pairs of guide rails arranged opposite to each other and secured on main support and auxiliary supports installed for movement on each pair of guide rails. Each auxiliary support has spring-loaded scriber head, position adjusting handwheel, rigid tie-rod secured on auxiliary support and following roller installed for rotation on rigid tie-rod. Spring-loaded scriber head has strengthened scribing rod making cutting line and limiting roller moving in process of laying out along pressed skin of nose and limiting depth of groove of made cutting line. When edge laying out device is installed on skin forming unit and spring-loaded scriber heads are in operating position, each following roller is in contact with corresponding profiled edge. With main support moving along skin forming unit, vertical component of profiles of profiled edges is changed and following rollers displace in vertical direction. This displacement is transmitted through rigid tie-rods onto auxiliary supports and, , consequently, onto scriber heads. Position of strengthened scribing rods in vertical corresponds to current profiles of corresponding profiled edges, and marked out cutting lines also correspond to preset profiles of finished edges of ready nose skin. proposed invention can be used for simultaneously laying out several cutting lines on pressed skin of nose of increased size installed on skin forming unit.
