FIELD: mining industry and construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: working member of drilling machine can be used for operating in hard ground and rock matter. Working member has tubular body and tool. Spindle of working member is provided with nonself-braking thread and piston. Half-coupling which is connected with spindle is provided with additional spring-biased piston and is made integral with body of working member. Second half-coupling of percussive cam-type mechanism is spring-biased and is connected with working member drive. Created inside working member body is threaded hole for spindle and provided is double-stage space filled with liquid and it is coaxial with spindle. Installed in larger stage of space is piston of spindle, and installed in smaller stage of space is additional piston. Application of aforesaid embodiment of working member allows for widening technological potentialities of working member with increasing working capacity of drilling machine.
