FIELD: light industry, in particular, cutting equipment used in shoes production. SUBSTANCE: cutting plate has two removably connected halves, one half made in the form of thermoplastic plate and other half made in the form of metal tray with flat bottom. Metal half has heating members arranged under flat bottom. During operation of cutting press lower metal half is heated so as to convert surface of thermoplastic half, which is in contact with flat bottom, into plastic state and to level worn surface to planar state under the action of compressive force applied by press. Upon wearing of one working surface, thermoplastic half is upturned and cutting operations are continued on its recovered surface and simultaneously worn surface is subjected to recovery process. Multiple recovery of working surfaces substantially, by 5-10 times, increases service life of replaceable part, i.e. thermoplastic half plate, and of cutting tools since they operate on smooth surface, with cutting tool edges having equal penetration depth along their perimeters. Configuration and sizes of thermoplastic half plate are maintained due to shape of other tray-shaped half with flat bottom. Collar is running along perimeter of tray-shaped half plate so that gap between collar and thermoplastic half plate is increasing from bottom to top. Height of collar is less than or equal to half the thickness of thermoplastic half plate. Surfaces of half plates must be arranged in parallel one with another.
