FIELD: leather and shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: shredder has fixed radially-adjustable knives installed on housing and knives installed for rotation by drive of rotor. Rotor is installed on axle of rotation by means of lead key and is made in form of slider connected by mechanism designed for provision of reciprocation of knives along lead key. This mechanism is made in form of slider crank mechanism connected with motor. Dimensions of crank can be changed by means of screw to adjust reciprocation speed. Housing has hole in bottom through which it is connected by means of pipeline with swirl tube supplied with high-pressure air from pneumatic main line for cooling the materials and maintaining shredded product in suspended state. EFFECT: reduced installed power of drive rotating the rotor with knives. 2 dwg
