Abstract RU 2132950 C1

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used for working mineral deposits irrespective of their capacity and lying angle. According to method, deposit is opened by means of underground workings. Main reserves of deposit are extracted by opencast operations with formation of protective berms on quarry benches. In plan elevation, reserves of each level are worked by blasting explosive charges in dipping blast-holes in direction of quarry sides with formation of protective prisms at its design contour. Cutting of mineral reserves is performed at concluding stage of operations at given level with creation of vertical slope or approximate to vertical slope within boundaries of given level. Broken rock mass appeared from destruction of protective prisms is released to underground hauling drifts in underlying level. Then rock mass is extracted to surface. Rock mass near contour is consolidated by injection and/or by installing preliminarily directed anchors. Application of aforesaid method allows for reducing scale of opencast operations.
