FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and can be used in development of steeply falling ore bodies, for example, kimberlite pipes. Method includes removal of overlapping rocks, layer-by-layer mining of the ore body with a drilling and blasting method from top to bottom with an open worked-out space with formation of inclined planes with a slope for ore delivery to a pre-formed ore discharge by combined action of gravitational forces and explosion energy. After removal of the overlapping rocks on the surface of the ore body, an ore jacket is formed with installation of load lifting devices on it for the suspension equipment movement for the drilling and blasting operations and on the inclined plane, the shaft / ore pass and the underground development complex pass, note here that ore development is carried out within rock contour by inclined layers; blast holes or bore pits are drilled from surface of mined inclined layer, and ore jacket is opened as advance of mining works moves with reinstallation of hoisting devices.

EFFECT: reduced volumes of mining-preparatory and mining underground works, as well as reduced impoverishment of mined ore due to exclusion of passing extraction of empty rocks, which increases efficiency of kimberlite pipe working.
