Movable lower panel is intended to perform forward motion in horizontal direction. Articulated triangular panels perform oscillatory motion in opposite direction at angle of α = 90 to 120 deg at oscillation period of T=1.0-3.0 s. length of panels is related to height B of midsection of air intake at the following relationship . Width bl of panels is related to width L of midsection of air intake at the following relationship . EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; reduced probability of suction of vortex core inside air intake together with foreign matter. 2 dwg
