DEVICE FEEDING POWDERY SAMPLES FOR SPECTRAL ANALYSIS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2133016 C1

FIELD: ashing of biological objects, mineralogy. SUBSTANCE: device feeding powdery samples for spectral analysis has case 1 with torus-shaped atomizing chamber 2. Walls 3 of torus-shaped chamber are displaced downstream of release duct 10 with formation of stepped zone 8. Duct 4 for supply of atomizing gas has branch pipe 6 with face end 7 that is located in stepped zone. Sample feeding duct 11 is fitted with unit shutting off vortex flow. Sample feeding duct 13 is equipped with cartridge 14 to accommodate powdery sample and piston 16 to feed sample to chamber 2. EFFECT: simplified design, compactness and high reliability of device. 2 dwg
