FIELD: engineering cybernetics. SUBSTANCE: in the course of inspection parameters are cyclically measured at basic check points of equipment and compared with threshold values. If parameter measured at check point is beyond threshold value, failure is recorded and faulty part is located; to this end, time sequence of parameter output is noted and in this sequence parameter is measured at additional check points, from which generalized characteristics of equipment parts are calculated and results are compared with their threshold values. Comparison results are used to locate faulty part whose generalized characteristic is beyond threshold value. EFFECT: reduced fault location time in servicing pneumohydraulic equipment. 1 dwg
