FIELD: method of burning perforated solid-propellant charges directly in cases of rocket engines. SUBSTANCE: prior to destruction of solid-propellant charges, part of working surface of change is retarded with solid water gel. Charge thus prepared is burnt in horizontal position. Prior to filling large-sized charges with water gel, cylindrical insert is interconnected into channel which is withdrawn after hardening of gel. EFFECT: ecologically pure destruction of powder charges of any sizes in horizontal position at minimum flow rate. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
