FUNCTIONAL CONVERTER TO ACCOMPLISH GRAPH-ANALYTICAL OPERATIONS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology, automation of graph-analytical operations while studying curvilinear plane figures. SUBSTANCE: insulation base of converter is fabricated in the form of lattice made of rectangular frame and assemblage of parallel insulation rods of T-shaped profile arranged at equal intervals and fixed in frame. Individual U-shaped section of high-resistance conductor is attached to outer surface of expanded part of each rod. Current conducting commutation elements are manufactured in the form of mobile units each being made of dielectric carriage having expanded base with guiding protrusion located in center of its upper part for longitudinal movement in narrowed part of clearance among adjacent rods. Two arc-shaped strip springs are anchored on both sides of guiding protrusion of carriage. Cone-shaped handle fitted with electric contact pressing jumper is attached to guiding protrusion of carriage for rotation about its axis.
