Abstract RU 2133448 C1

FIELD: instrumentation, nondestructive inspection of thickness of protective coats, insulation layers, fat deposits and paintwork on current conducting base. SUBSTANCE: measuring device has capacitive converter with flat- distributed probe. Probe includes hollow case-handle housing restoring collet holder. Dielectric shaped ring is fitted on collet holder for limited longitudinal movement. Elastic membrane from metallized lavsan film is pulled over lower edge of ring. Membrane is pressed against inspected coat with elastic cylindrical pad made from foam polyurethane. Converter is connected to measurement unit with the use of coaxial cable which conductor is connected to membrane and which sheath is linked to probe-gripper. Measurement unit of device has former of rectangular pulses of opposite polarity with varied relative pulse duration built according to circuit of multivibrator asymmetrical in capacitance. This unit also includes two switches to select operational mode and measurement limit. EFFECT: expanded field of integral profile inspection of coat having unspecified spatial orientation. 1 cl, 4 dwg
