SUBSTANCE: proposed measuring device incorporates probe-grip 1 with conductive base 2, nonconductive coat 3 subject to integral thickness metering, probe 4, coaxial cables 5 and 6, high-frequency bridge 7, amplifier 8, detector 9 and indicator 10. Balanced transformer 11 is connected to A.C. generator 12. Device also includes limiting resistors 13, 14, potentiometer 15, semi-variable 16 and constant 17 capacitors, resistor magazine 18, capacitor magazine 19, case 20, elastic bushing 21, cover 23 made from insulation material and dielectric handle 24. EFFECT: enhanced resolving power and stability of results of conducted measurements, widened working life of measurement system, simplified design of its capacitive-conversion part. 1 dwg
