FIELD: carrying out strength calculations and evaluation of dynamic stability of boom-type hydraulic manipulators. SUBSTANCE: method for determining dynamic forces acting upon constructional members of boom-type hydraulic manipulators at sharp change of speed of boom with weight suspended to it by means of flexible link comprises use of analytical relationships of parameters of constructional members and levels of determined loads. Determined beforehand by experimental way real values of mass, geometry, rigidity and speed characteristics of constructional members are used as their parameters. Dynamic forces are determined according to respective analytical relationships. Model of boom-type hydraulic manipulator with two freedom degrees is used for determining dynamic forces. Model takes into account oscillations of suspended weight, oscillation of suspension point of weight at mass and rigidity of boom reduced to suspension point.
