FIELD: power-generating branches of industry, transport. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to measure smoke content in effluent gases. Proposed opticoelectron device for measuring concentration of solid particles in stack gases has radiator, two photodetectors, protective glasses, hollow light conduits, holes to feed protective gas, reflector anchored behind protective glass in hollow light conduit of radiator and optically coupled to photodetector of reference conduit installed in unit of radiator, electronic circuit made of two linear amplifiers with controlled amplification factor, two logarithm taking units, differential amplifier and comparator. Output of instrument photodetector is connected via linear amplifier with controlled amplification factor to input of first logarithm taking unit which output is linked to noninverting input of differential amplifier and output of reference photodetector is connected via the other linear amplifier with controlled amplification factor to inputs of comparator and second unit taking logarithms whose output is connected to inverting input of differential amplifier. EFFECT: increased accuracy thanks to automatic compensation of fouling of protective glass. 1 dwg
